

The Woodlands High School Band
has earned consistent UIL Sweepstakes Awards
and accomplishments including the following: competed at the state level
in the Texas State Honor Band process, has been a finalist at the State
Marching Band Contest, performed at The Texas State Wind Ensemble
Contest, marched in two Gubernatorial Inauguration Parades, performed at
the Bands of America National Concert Band Festival in Chicago, has been a Bands of
America Regional Finalist twenty-one consecutive times, a
National BOA Marching Band Contest Semi Finalist ('98) and
Four-Time BOA Grand National Finalist
('02,'04, '06, '07), and was the 2006 National Class AAA Champion.
The band was awarded the
prestigious Sudler Flag (2003) and has had the honor of performing at the
Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago (2004) and Western International Band Clinic in
Seattle (2006). Our Colorguard was crowned the 2004 Winterguard
WGI Scholastic Open Class World Champion and has been a consistent
winner in the Texas Colorguard Circuit.
